This photo was taken on the Island of Maui on the highway to Hana or as I like to call it, the highway to hell. While the scenery was gorgeous, the drive was grueling.
I added a link so you can read about it if you so choose. We stopped at an Hawaiian Ice stand at about half way point and had some refreshing cool ice. Doesn't it look yummy!
Great posting for Ruby Tuesday. Yes, I remember the road to Hana, a trip I've done a few times. We are going back to Maui next year for Hawaii's 50th birthday. I will get one of those snowcones.
Actually , yeah it does. And I don't usually care much for that sort of thing.
Interesting bit of Hana trivia: Pat Benatar's younger daughter is named after the town of Hana, which is where she and husband/guitarist Neil Geraldo spent their honeymoon nearly 30 years ago. And get this, they're still happily married and touring. Quite an accomplishment for any couple, but especially for two people in the entertainment biz.
Ummmm can I taste? =) Oh gosh, I miss that!
ReplyDeleteMine's here.

ReplyDeleteRaspberry ice? So refreshing in the heat, and can't be bad for you - ripe fruit means you add less sugar!
