I ache for the words that will soothe my mind. The sage advice I know they would offer me.
What do you do when the strongest women in your life are both gone and you feel like you are coming apart at the seams?
"Tell me, Mom, what am I to do?"
"Granny I need some of that no nonsense advice you were so good at."
Please just talk to me!

If you need to talk, find me. I don't have much in the way of sage advice, but I'm a great listener.

I get some of this. My Gran was lovely, but not someone I would ask advice of, my Mum maybe, but it is clouded by the role reversal in her later years.
We didn't see eye to eye at all, her view was often very different to mine, she thought I uncaring whilst I thought her weak!
Nevertheless our chats always helped me balance my perspective and clarify what not to do, if not what to!!! If that makes sense?
Here's hoping that you are now moving forward with this.
