Today's Flower

Without their supporting structures, a flower would not be. This is what is left of the clematis after the blooms have fallen to the ground...a tangled mess. It may not be beautiful but it is certainly interesting don't you think? Plus it reflects my mood perfectly today.

Lucy: That is an interesting look on a great flower.

We had a freeze in NE Ohio so all my annual plants have a worse look.

I love clematis in its all states. That sure looks interesting.

The seed heads of the Clemstis are like thistle down. Each plant has it's own beauty.

You caught me! I grow clematis and I didn't recognize it! The silver foliage threw me off as it turns brown in my garden.
