My World

What is going on in my world? Construction! Construction on the highways, construction in my home, and lastly...construction in my mind. Everywhere you look it seems there is destruction and ruin. When will the orange barrels go away?

A bonus though, as the arrow is so aptly showing...the price of gas is dropping! It is down another $.20 since this picture was taken. Yea ha!

If you would like to see what is going on in the world of other's, click on the badge above. This is a new meme and I am sure everyone would enjoy a visit.

Interesting photo. I'm excited about the price drop too. I am in Upstate New York and gas today was $2.99 I didn't think we would ever see that again.

Hi Lucy,
One day you will wake up and all those orange barrels will be gone and you will have a beautiful smooth street! Progress can be painful! Better to have this than no progress at all. Happy Fall!

I feel your pain - stared at Cones and barrels for two years! Finally they're gone! Eventually yours will disappear, too! Even a world of construction is a world worth to be seen! :)
Cheers, Klaus

Construction is annoying, but once it's done it'll have been worth it. Glad to see your gas prices are going down.

I don't envy you having to deal with the construction...but that goes on everywhere.

Cool photo! They've been widening the highway up into the mountains for over three years and they're still blasting away. And no sign the barrels will be gone any time soon.

A bit annoying for you, no? I get crabby when construction inconveniences me, but I also get crabby when they don't keep up the roads. Quite the conundrum.

Road repairs can be very annoying, I do hope they go away.
Lucky you to have a drop in petrol price. I would really like to know what the actual price is.
Perhaps next week?

Lucy: What part of Ohio are you from? With that construction you could be anywhere. I live in Kent and that's why I was wondering. Thanks for the updates with the gas prices.
